THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Harley-Davidson/Buell collects your Customer Identifiable Information

(e.g., rentals), enroll as a member in our communities (e.g.,
H.O.G.), request other information (e.g., investor information),
or otherwise communicate with us about our offerings. "Customer
Identifiable Information" means any information relating to
a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly,
from that information by reference to an identification number
or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological,
mental, economic, cultural or social identity. The Customer
Identifiable Information we collect about you can include name,
address, telephone number, E-mail address, credit card number
and expiration date, password, preferred E-Commerce dealer,
purchase history, IP address, what Web sites visitors come from,
which pages are visited at this Web site, and information about
online activities that are directly linked to them. This information
may be merged with other information Harley-Davidson/Buell already
knows, such as whether you are the owner of a Harley-Davidson®
or Buell® motorcycle, whether you are a member of H.O.G.® or
B.R.A.G.®, whether you hold a Harley-Davidson® Chrome Visa®
card, etc., or information available from other sources such
as credit card verification and credit services and dealers.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION
Harley-Davidson/Buell will collect and use your Customer Identifiable Information to render
services to you; respond to your inquiries; market and sell to you products, programs, and
services offered by Harley-Davidson/Buell; and market and sell to you Harley-Davidson/Buell
products, programs, and services offered by its dealers, authorized rental operators, and
business alliance companies. In addition, Harley-Davidson/Buell may use Customer Identifiable
Information to conduct other legitimate business activities, such as protecting the security
of the Web sites and of Harley-Davidson/Buell's networks, guarding against potential liability,
engaging in debt collection, responding to a court order or subpoena, preventing fraud, complying
with law, and complying with a legally permitted inquiry by a government agency or regulator.
If necessary for the purposes mentioned above, Harley-Davidson/Buell may transfer your Customer
Identifiable Information to third parties and these third parties may use your Customer Identifiable
Information for such purposes. These third parties may include Harley-Davidson/Buell's dealers, advisors,
rental operators, companies providing products and services (such as IT systems suppliers) to
Harley-Davidson/Buell and, to the extent required by law, regulatory authorities (including tax authorities).
Harley-Davidson/Buell also may transfer your Customer Identifiable Information to its business
alliance companies that have entered into a contract with Harley-Davidson/Buell to offer, endorse,
or sponsor a Harley-Davidson/Buell product, program, or service.
If the version of this Web site you are using allows you to purchase products or services online,
your Customer Identifiable Information will be used to complete any transactions you wish to enter into,
including credit card processing and credit checks. Your name, address, E-mail address, telephone number
and, where applicable, credit card information and purchase details, will be shared with the participating
Harley-Davidson and/or Buell dealer who will fulfill your order. Please note that Harley-Davidson and Buell
dealers are independent from Harley-Davidson/Buell. However, the participating dealers have agreed not to
use Customer Identifiable Information submitted in connection with an order made through this Web site for
any purpose other than the purposes identified above.
Harley-Davidson/Buell is in the process of contractually requiring other third parties to whom we transfer
your Customer Identifiable Information to use your Customer Identifiable Information only within the
context of their agreement(s) with Harley-Davidson/Buell, and only for the purposes stated above, including
direct marketing of products or services to you. At present, however, not all third parties are so
contractually bound, and some third parties may use your Customer Identifiable Information for other purposes.
In addition, some third parties that have received your Customer Identifiable Information may not be required
to allow you to opt out of their use of such information for direct marketing.
In addition, in the event that all or any part of the Harley-Davidson/Buell corporate family is sold to a
third party, we may transfer Customer Identifiable information to the third party buyer as part of the
assets of the business.
We may share anonymous aggregated demographic and general trend information with any third party we choose.
You may request, at any time, that the Customer Identifiable Information you provide on the Registration page or
when updating your profile not be used for direct marketing purposes by harley-davidson.com, or transferred by
harley-davidson.com to third parties for marketing purposes, by unchecking the box in the My Personal Info page
of the My Profile section.
Changing the selection in the My Personal Info page of the My Profile section will not remove your Customer
Identifiable Information from other Harley-Davidson/Buell programs in which you may have enrolled through
Harley-Davidson/Buell's Web sites or from other lists maintained by Harley-Davidson/Buell. Nor will it remove
your Customer Identifiable Information from lists maintained by Harley-Davidson and Buell dealers
(including dealers who received your Customer Identifiable Information to fulfill your online purchases),
rental operators, business alliance companies, and persons and companies providing services to
Harley-Davidson/Buell. You should contact these third parties directly if you have any questions or
concerns regarding their use of your Customer Identifiable Information.

profile page that the Consumer Identifiable Information you provide not be used for direct marketing purposes

You can use this link to request that no more emails be sent to you from buell.com.
Making such a request on your profile page (if available) or using the unsubscribe feature found in
certain buell.com e-mail messages, however, will not remove your Customer Identifiable Information from

OUR USE OF "COOKIES" AND OTHER COMPUTER INFORMATION
